In addition to using Outlook’s Document Comparison feature to compare differences between two documents, users can use this feature to access earlier versions of content.
- Open Office file
- Choose the File tab
- Click on Info
- When you click Version History, a new window will open where you can choose the desired version of your document.
*Note: Previous versions can be compared with the DMSforLegal Document Comparison button. SharePoint may only show the most current version of a document in your Outlook document view, but other Office applications (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) can see previous versions stored in SharePoint.
