Access Previous File Versions Via Info Tab

In addition to using Outlook’s Document Comparison feature to compare differences between two documents, users can use this feature to access earlier versions of content.

  1. Open Office file
  2. Choose the File tab
  3. Click on Info
  4. When you click Version History, a new window will open where you can choose the desired version of your document.

*Note: Previous versions can be compared with the DMSforLegal Document Comparison button. SharePoint may only show the most current version of a document in your Outlook document view, but other Office applications (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) can see previous versions stored in SharePoint.
