OneNote is an app part of the Office 365 environment which enables users to easily create notes and gather information in a free-form way. Users can gather written notes, drawings, screen captures or audio commentaries. Notes in OneNote can be shared with other users and even while working simultaneously in the same notebooks OneNote will automatically synchronize all files. OneNote notebooks can be attached to matters to keep the notes organized per subject and matter.
Users can access the OneNote environment in different ways.
- By opening the Office 365 menu in the online Sharepoint environment users can access OneNote and an overview of all recent notes across different matters will appear.
- To access notebooks in a more organized way users can open the matter they plan on adding notes to and open the tab Notebooks.
